PORT CLINTON, Ohio / April 22, 2025 – Alex Morgan Johnson, Broker/Owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Morgan Realty Group, has built a career around helping families find a place to call their own. This spring, she took her mission internationally, traveling to Guatemala with her daughter, Gabby Johnson, to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity International and help transform homes for six deserving families.
Joining forces with a team of 11 volunteers, Alex and Gabby spent time helping improve the lives of six Guatemalan families by installing concrete floors and smokeless stoves, creating safer and healthier environments in their homes.
The volunteers were warmly embraced by the local community, who expressed gratitude by preparing homemade lunches for the team and building meaningful connections.
“Real estate is all about helping people find a place to call home,” said Alex Morgan Johnson. “This experience reminded me just how powerful and universal the meaning of ‘home’ truly is.”
Alex Morgan Johnson began her career in real estate back in 2001 and opened Morgan Realty Group five years later along with her parents, Jeff and Carol. Alex is very active in the local community, serving as an Ottawa County Community Foundation Board Member, Past President of Port Clinton Women’s Club, National Association of REALTORS® Resort and Secondary Property Specialist Committee Member, and Habitat for Humanity of Ottawa County Board Member.
