WOODBURY, Minn. / Sept. 30, 2025 — The team at Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage went from moving houses to moving airplanes earlier this month during a special fundraising event for Special Olympics Minnesota.
Group members from the brokerage joined forces to compete in the annual plane pull fundraiser, moving a massive aircraft 25 feet down the tarmac in a test of teamwork, strength, and determination. Their efforts helped raise more than $2,000 for Special Olympics Minnesota.
“We were honored to help raise money for a fantastic organization who provides amazing opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities. We had a great time doing it too,” said Mark LaQua, Broker/Owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage.
Special Olympics Minnesota’s plane pull is one of the organization’s most exciting fundraising events, bringing together community members, businesses, and organizations to compete in a fun and unique activity. Funds raised directly benefit thousands of athletes across the state, helping them build confidence, friendships, and skills both on and off the playing field.
