GARDEN CITY, Idaho / July 1, 2024 — Weichert, Realtors® – Cormier & Associates recently held a pet supply drive and volunteer day to support the Idaho Humane Society. Boise-area families were invited to contact their favorite REALTOR® at the firm to schedule a donation pick-up during the month of April. The team capped off the effort with a day of service at the Humane Society on May 17.
According to Josh Cormier, broker-owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Cormier & Associates, the campaign was a huge success.
“Through the generosity and kindness of our friends and neighbors in the Boise area, we were able to donate more than 132 gallons of pet supplies and three large pet beds to the Idaho Humane Society,” said Cormier. “Together, our community and the team at Weichert, Realtors® – Cormier & Associates were able to make a real difference to our furry friends in need.”
Team members were able to see the impact of their initiative in person in late May when they joined together for a Volunteer Day at the Idaho Humane Society. “At Weichert, Realtors® – Cormier & Associates, we believe in giving back to the community that has given us so much,” said Cormier. “Spending ‘hands-on’ time at the Humane Society and knowing that we are helping animals in need find loving homes feels like a great way to make a positive impact for the animals, the organization, and our community.”
