CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. / Sept. 19, 2017 – Randy Worcester, the broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Home Pros, has been selected as the 2018 Division 2 Vice President (Middle Grand Division) of Tennessee REALTORS®. Worcester was elected and installed at the state association’s annual convention, which was held Sept. 13-16 in Memphis, Tennessee.
Worcester’s term as vice president will run for two years, during which time he will serve as part of the statewide association’s 10-member Executive Committee.
“I look forward to my role in working with members and their local associations,” said Worcester. “We must remember that the consumer is central to everything we do. I will work hard to encourage real estate agents to get more engaged with their local associations, to increase levels of education, and become a larger part of their community in order to be of more value to the consumer.”
Worcester has been a licensed Tennessee REALTOR for more than 12 years. He is a member of the Clarksville Association of REALTORS (CAR), where he has served as president, president-elect and director, as well as chair of multiple committees. Worcester was named CAR’s 2011 REALTOR of the Year.
At the state level, Worcester was a member of the Tennessee REALTORS board of directors for four years. He served as president of the of the Tennessee state organization for the Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) in 2016. Prior to that leadership position, Worcester was named the Tennessee CRS of the Year in 2014 and is a graduate of the Tennessee Association of REALTORS 2012 Leadership Class.
Worcester has also been actively involved with various civic organizations locally. He has served as president of the Clarksville Sunrise Rotary Club, where he is a Paul Harris Fellow, and as a leader with the Middle Tennessee Council of the Boy Scouts.
His wife, Peggy, the co-owner of their Clarksville-based Weichert® affiliated agency, is also a successful REALTOR. She was recently inducted into the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council’s “Hall of Fame.” Their two sons are also involved in their real estate brokerage.
