Weichert® affiliate named a Top 10 fundraising team
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. / Sept. 28, 2018 – Some walked while others ran. A few even traveled by stroller.
The varied modes of transportation – for both adults and toddlers – made the day even more fun for the Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage Plus team at this year’s St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer event in Knoxville on Sept. 22.
“We had such a great time doing the St. Jude Walk/Run fundraiser again this year,” said Jeff Grebe, the company’s broker/owner.
This marked the eighth straight year that Grebe’s team has participated in the event, raising tens of thousands of dollars for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the process – including $3,115 and counting for this year’s walk/run.
The Weichert® affiliate’s team fundraising effort was the seventh best at this year’s Knoxville walk/run, which raised $219,000 to help fight childhood cancer.
“We are truly honored to help raise money each year for an incredible organization that dedicates itself to helping kids with cancer,” added Grebe. “And we can’t wait to do it again next year.”
