Weichert, Realtors® – Triangle Fundraiser Benefits Susan G. Komen Foundation
RALEIGH, N.C. / May 3, 2019 — There was a hare-raising event at a local real estate agency recently – but it was for a good cause.
Folks – both big and small – hopped over to have their picture taken with adorable bunnies by Weichert, Realtors® – Triangle agent Kristine Bourgeois. The proceeds from the spring photo shoot are being donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help support breast cancer research.
The fluffy-tailed fundraiser was coordinated by Bourgeois, who is an amateur photographer and owner of the bunnies used in the photo shoot.
“I can’t believe how much people enjoyed a fundraiser that combined two of my favorite things outside of helping my real estate clients: photography and bunnies,” said Bourgeois. “This was a fun way to help the Susan G. Komen Foundation and I’d definitely like to do it again.”
Edna Sexton, the broker-in-charge at Weichert, Realtors® – Triangle, added: “Many thanks to the folks who came out to help support this event. I also want to thank Kristine for coming up with such a creative idea to support a worthy organization.”
