That’s why news of Bullock running for a vacant seat on the city commission in his hometown of Mount Juliet didn’t surprise his colleagues at Weichert, Realtors® – The Andrews Group.
“Gerard is one of those guys who tries to help people any way he can. That’s just what he does,” said Tom Andrews, broker/owner of the company, which has offices in Nashville and Murfreesboro.
“Gerard’s desire to be a part of the Mount Juliet City Commission shows just how much he’s willing to help his hometown,” added Andrews. “I can’t think of a better person to fill this vacant seat and wish Gerard all the best.”
Bullock’s willingness to help his hometown goes beyond a seat on city commission, though. He also supports the city’s business community through his involvement with the Mount Juliet Chamber of Commerce.
“Helping others is something I commit myself to doing every day, and not just with my real estate clients,” said Bullock, who joined Weichert, Realtors® – The Andrews Group in 2017. “It would be an honor to further serve this community as a member of the Mount Juliet City Commission and I hope I get that chance when the commission votes later this month.”
The Mount Juliet City Commission will open the floor at its June 24 meeting for nominations and vote on a potential candidate to fill the vacant seat. Bullock is one of four candidates who have expressed an interest in the open seat.
