The newest Weichert® affiliate is the company’s 19th franchised office in the state of California and the only one in San Diego County.
Weichert, Realtors® – North County is owned and operated by Bob Preston. It was established as a sales division to his existing business, North County Property Group, which will continue to serve as the property management and leasing division of the brokerage.
Preston made the decision to join the Weichert national franchise network after extensive research and talks with the company’s leadership team. He saw tremendous value in Weichert’s offerings to affiliated brokers and agents to help facilitate growth.

Preston has been a licensed real estate agent for over 30 years and obtained his broker’s license in 2012. He’s a member of the North San Diego County Association of REALTORS® (NSDCAR), California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) and National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). He serves as the president of the California state chapter of NARPM.
With over 25 years of experience as an owner of personal investment properties, Preston has used his knowledge and skills to help build North County Property Group into one of the area’s premier property management and leasing companies.
Preston holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine. He previously served as a technology industry executive in Silicon Valley.
Preston is a California native who has lived in Del Mar for 25 years. He’s happily married with four children, and enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, snowboarding and going to the beach when he’s not servicing clients.
