ATLANTIC BEACH, N.C. / Feb. 20, 2017 – Gerald Renfrow, a real estate agent at WEICHERT, REALTORS® – At Waves Edge, enjoys helping others. Whether he’s taking care of his clients’ real estate needs or doing volunteer work at a local charity, the Harkers Island resident enjoys lending a helping hand.
Refrow and his friend, Fletcher Poulk, recently volunteered to pack-up and deliver dozens of bag lunches to students at Morehead City Elementary School whose families are on a fixed income. Renfrow and Poulk are both members of the Morehead City Rotary Club, which organizes several bag lunch drop-offs at the school each year.
“Everyone can use a helping hand from time to time,” said Renfrow, who works full-time at the Weichert® affiliate agency in Atlantic Beach. “Making bag lunches and dropping them off at the school is something I can, and will continue to do, to help others in our community.”
Renfrow also finds time to help other local charities. He helps transport patients around Carteret General Hospital and serves on the board of directors at Hope Mission, a non-profit group that provides food, shelter and emergency financial assistance for Carteret County’s less fortunate.
