EAGLE, Idaho / July 20, 2022 – Real estate agent Adrienne Tarkenton of Weichert, Realtors® – Cormier & Associates has always held a passion for helping those in need in her community. Earlier this month, Tarkenton displayed her selfless and giving nature by hosting a fundraiser at Heroes Park in Meridian to benefit the Children’s Home Society of Idaho.
Originally serving as an orphanage, the Children’s Home Society of Idaho transformed into a highly-needed non-profit organization providing mental, behavioral, and emotional health care programs and services to children and their families.
Tarkenton successfully organized a 4th of July event with the goal of raising money for the Children’s Home Society of Idaho and providing a safe place for families in Meridian to celebrate together.
The event included games, crafts, face painting, a photobooth, live music from the RJ McGinnis Band, and much more. They held a raffle drawing for gift baskets that were donated by Debbie Aguirre-Shank from Guild Mortgage and Idaho Massage, as well as a cooler filled with goodies from Idaho Central Credit Union. All proceeds generated from the raffle were then donated to the Children’s Home Society of Idaho to benefit their cause of providing health care programs for the Idaho community.
“Our community members were so excited to spend the day celebrating with their families in a fun, safe environment,” said Tarkenton. “A sincere thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this great event happen. We cannot wait to see all the great people in our community at the next event.”
