MARTINEZ, Ga. / November 17, 2023 – Weichert, Realtors® – Cornerstone, one of the area’s premier real estate brokerages with roots in Martinez dating back to 2006, was recently sold to Aaron Duncan and William Webb, owners of two separate successful Weichert® affiliated companies in the region.
Duncan, who also owns Weichert, Realtors® – Real Estate Professionals in Hinesville, serves as the qualifying broker for Weichert, Realtors® – Cornerstone in both Georgia and South Carolina. With a long-time commitment to serving the Fort Stewart community, the idea of converting the Weichert Augusta franchise to a veteran-owned business and expanding the focus on Fort Eisenhower (formerly Fort Gordon) was particularly appealing. Duncan is also a Georgia real estate instructor who will be teaching local pre-license courses in addition to training associates in an ever-changing industry. “The Weichert world-class tools and systems enable our agents to be the best option for both buyers and sellers, and new technologies are always being introduced,” said Duncan. “I look forward to building on the great foundation that Betty has established and ensuring our team remains among the best in the business.”
Webb, the owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Webb and Associates in Statesboro, serves as an associate broker and relocation coordinator with Weichert, Realtors® – Cornerstone. “I’m pleased to have been given the opportunity to partake in this endeavor,” said Webb. “While there will certainly be growing pains, our goal and expectation is to continue to improve while broadening our service area capabilities.
