THE BRONX, N.Y. / January 25, 2024 – Prime Realty Group, Inc., a local real estate brokerage that has served The Bronx and lower Westchester County for nearly 30 years, is proud to announce it has joined the Weichert® national franchise network. The brokerage has rebranded as Weichert, Realtors® – Legacy Group and will continue to operate from its office located at 1722 Crosby Avenue in The Bronx.
The addition of Weichert, Realtors® – Legacy Group marks the continued expansion for Weichert® in New York, increasing the brand’s presence to a total of 20 franchised offices throughout the state.
Weichert, Realtors® – Legacy Group is owned and operated by Maria Porco-Rosa, who has worked in the real estate industry since 1985 and is also a licensed insurance broker and holds a BPOR Designation.

Porco-Rosa grew up in the real estate world, visiting job sites as a youngster with her father, who worked as a developer. She became a licensed real estate agent in 1985 and worked at her father’s business, Porco Real Estate, until 1996 when she opened her own brokerage. She’s since grown her business into a highly respected and successful brokerage providing leading real estate services for The Bronx and lower Westchester communities. This past year, Porco-Rosa was the top-producing female real estate agent in The Bronx.
Porco-Rosa and her team are very active in the local community, supporting nearby schools Villa Maria Academy, Cardinal Spellman High School, and PS 71 School, as well as local organizations such as the A.F.C Rapid Youth Soccer Club and Pelham Bay Little League.
