GARDEN CITY, Idaho / January 25, 2024 – Josh Cormier, broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Cormier & Associates in Garden City, has been installed as president of the Boise Regional REALTORS® Community Foundation. Cormier served as vice president of the Foundation in 2023 and continues his three-year term in leadership as president in 2024.
The Boise Regional REALTORS® Community Foundation raises funds to be given away to four grantees every year. The grantees are non-profits serving housing related needs in the community.

We’re looking forward to continuing that tradition, while ensuring that the Foundation will be positioned to continue its service for many years to come.”
Cormier was raised in South Boise and attended Mountain View High School and Boise State University (BSU). He graduated from BSU in 2015 with a health science degree and planned to pursue a career as a physical therapist until he got his first taste of real estate by purchasing an investment property in 2016 and representing himself during the transaction.
He acquired his real estate license shortly thereafter and began a rewarding career as a REALTOR®. In 2018, Cormier founded his own brand, and in 2019 sought to open his own brokerage. After extensive research into the industry of real estate franchises, he discovered Weichert and was drawn to the organization’s simple sales philosophy that “people buy people before they buy a product or service,” which aligned perfectly with Josh’s sale’s philosophy.
Cormier franchised with Weichert in 2020 and established Idaho’s first Weichert affiliated office. Cormier specializes in single family homes and large acreage rural build lots. He’s facilitated residential infill development deals and has listed luxury homes in excess of $1 million.
