BALDWIN, N.Y. / September 3, 2025 – Carlson Connor, a dedicated agent with Weichert, Realtors® – Quality Homes in Baldwin, was recently honored for his 20 years of distinguished leadership as president of the Anguilla Progressive Association of New York (APANY). During his tenure, he received the prestigious Queen’s Certificate from the Government of Anguilla in recognition of his service and leadership.
Connor was unanimously elected president of APANY in 2005 and has served in the role ever since. The non-profit organization was founded in 1996 by Connor and fellow Anguillan immigrants living in New York City in the wake of a devastating hurricane that struck Anguilla. APANY’s mission is to support the people of Anguilla through education, healthcare, and community development. Over the years, the organization has provided scholarships for students, supported medical missions, and funded critical infrastructure projects, improving countless lives on the island.
In addition to his remarkable service to Anguilla, Connor is also very engaged in the local Long Island community. At Weichert, Realtors® – Quality Homes, he has been instrumental in mentoring, recruiting, and developing agents, helping to grow the brokerage’s presence and reputation.
