Bob Jones at Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties Excited to Support Charitable Organization
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. / Oct. 9, 2017 – Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties is proud to announce that Bob Jones has been appointed to serve as a board member for the Literacy Center, a non-profit that works to improve youth and adult literacy rates throughout Beaufort County. Jones is a licensed real estate agent at Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties, which has four offices around the state.
“I’m truly honored to be invited to serve as a board member at the Literacy Center,” said Jones, who lives on Hilton Head Island. “The Literacy Center is an invaluable resource for those in Beaufort County that want to improve their reading and writing skills. Achieving that goal not only impacts an individual’s life, but can positively influence the lives of their children and families, as well as the community at-large. I look forward to serving as a board member for one of the county’s oldest and most cherished non-profit groups.”
Jones, who has actively been involved with various charities on Hilton Head Island for the past 20 years, was elected to the Literacy Center’s board of directors to assist the organization with its fundraising efforts. He will also be responsible for helping the board set policies and goals aimed at increasing literacy rates throughout the county.
