ASHEVILLE, N.C. / May 11, 2021 – Weichert, Realtors® – Unlimited agent Nedra Creason helped her clients recently close on the purchase of the iconic Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa located just outside of Asheville. The resort, which opened in 1926 and is the one of the area’s main attractions to guests from all around the world, sold for $7,174,350, marking the largest real estate transaction in company history for Weichert, Realtors® – Unlimited.
Creason was connected to buyers Grey Raines and David Tart, managing partners of Raines Hospitality, through a Weichert-owned lead generation resource that’s available to Weichert affiliated offices. With Raines and Tart being very passionate about golf and looking for land they could develop, Creason helped match them with the Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa. She then performed her due diligence in gathering information to help her clients make an informed decision on the purchase.

The Waynesville Inn Golf Resort & Spa, located at 176 Country Club Drive in Waynesville, opened in 1926 and was originally called the Waynesville Country Club. The property features 27 holes of championship golf, 111 hotel rooms, a spa, two restaurants and six meeting facilities.
