The office will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 22 at 3 p.m. CDT at 6010 McPherson Rd. in Laredo.
Weichert, Realtors® – Nash & Associates is owned and operated by Juan Ignacio Gonzalez, a successful real estate broker and business owner with a background in economics and finance.

Gonzalez was born and raised in Laredo and graduated from Dr. Leo Cigarroa High School. He attended Texas A&M International University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in international finance. After working for over 10 years in the corporate world, Gonzalez pursued his dream of becoming a business owner and opened a logistics and transportation company.
His passion for helping others led him to pursue a career in real estate, as Gonzalez joined a brokerage in Laredo in 2018. He quickly became one of the company’s top agents and formed his own team within the brokerage, which specialized in residential real estate, leases, land, and some commercial real estate. Within his first four years as an agent, Gonzalez earned his Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resources (SFR), and Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) Designations/Certifications.
In late 2022, Gonzalez earned his broker’s license before making the decision to open his own brokerage and join the Weichert franchise system. Gonzalez and his group of agents at Weichert, Realtors® – Nash & Associates specialize in residential and commercial real estate, with plans to expand into property management in the near future.
