OAK PARK, Ill. / July 11, 2017 – WEICHERT, REALTORS® – Nickel Group is proud to announce that Alice McMahon, a real estate agent at the Oak Park Weichert® affiliate, has been named the 2017 REALTOR of the Year by the Oak Park Area Association of REALTORS. McMahon was presented with the award during the Illinois Association of REALTORS annual awards banquet on June 6th at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield.
“It truly is an honor to be recognized by a professional association that I have been a part of for years,” said McMahon, whose career in real estate spans four decades. “I also can’t tell you how much it means to me to receive this award. I am so proud to be part of an organization that strives to improve the reputation of real estate professionals locally and is committed to giving back to the communities its members serve.”
McMahon, a member of her local association’s board of directors since 2013, received the award for her ongoing efforts to improve the professional reputation and quality of service provided by real estate agents in the Oak Park area. She has served on the association’s pro standards committee since 2013 and also chairs the group’s special events task force. The REALTOR of the Year award is the highest honor presented to a member of the Oak Park Area Association of REALTORS.
