Weichert, Realtors® – Performance Homes partners with Long Island Coalition for the Homeless
FARMINGDALE, N.Y. / Jan. 10, 2019 – Weichert, Realtors® – Performance Homes is proud to partner with a Long Island-based charity to help collect clothing and toiletry items for the homeless.
The public is invited to come out and support the Weichert® affiliate’s clothing drive, which runs until January 18, to help support the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless.
Donated items, including coats, hats, scarves, and socks for adults and children, as well as shampoo, soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, deodorant and shaving supplies, can be dropped off weekdays between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. (7 p.m. on Tuesdays) at the Farmingdale real estate agency, located at 847 Fulton Street.
“We encourage everyone that lives and works in the area to stop by and donate whatever they can to help support our clothing drive,” said Anthony Garcia, the broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Performance Homes. “Teaming up with the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless is a great way for us to give back to the community and help the less fortunate. We hope others will join us.”
The Long Island Coalition for the Homeless is an Amityville-based non-profit that provides emergency, transitional and permanent low-cost housing for homeless individuals and families in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
