Weichert® affiliates help make the holiday season very special for one lucky Chick-fil-A delivery person
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. / Dec. 14, 2018 – The winter holidays bring out the spirit of giving. It’s what makes this time of year so special.
The giving spirit can be found everywhere, even at a real estate planning meeting in Bloomington.
“A bunch of Weichert franchise offices were in town for a goal-setting meeting so the timing was perfect to do something special as a group for the holidays to help someone else,” said Mark LaQua, the broker/owner Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage, located in Wayzata and Woodbury.
And what they did on Dec. 5 was very special for one lucky Chick-fil-A delivery driver.
The group, which included several owners, brokers and agents from Weichert® affiliated offices in the Midwest, decided to surprise T.J., the driver, with a $700 tip on a $200 bill after he delivered Chick-fil-A for the group’s meeting at the Bell Bank building near I-494.
“We wanted to surprise our delivery guy with a big tip to make this an unforgettable holiday season for him,” added LaQua. “So everyone in the meeting chipped in when we passed around a Santa hat to collect the tip money. Even our contacts at Bell Bank, Pete Rinzel and Bob Merrill, put in a few dollars.”
The generous tip left the Chick-fil-A driver speechless, according to LaQua. “No words were needed. The look on his face said it all.”
