Weichert, Realtors® – Norwest proudly supports Warrior Impact’s annual golf tournament
BEND, Ore. / Sept. 24, 2019 – Weichert, Realtors® – Norwest, located in Bend, was honored to be a part of the 5th Annual Scotch Golf Tournament & Auction.
Proceeds from the two-day event, which took place Sept. 13-14 at Pronghorn Resort in Bend, benefit the non-profit group, Warrior Impact. The Bend-based charity offers programs and support services for active duty military, returning military and first responders experiencing psychological trauma.
“We were honored to be a part of this annual golf outing, which raises funds and awareness for a truly amazing organization,” said Justin Fairbanks, the principal broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Norwest. “This was our fourth year sponsoring the Scotch Golf Tournament and we’re looking forward to doing it again next year.”
Fairbanks, whose real estate agency joined the Weichert national franchise last year, added: “We love supporting the many different community events here in the Bend area – especially when they benefit charitable organizations that do great work.”
Warrior Impact has changed countless lives through a “War Detox” program, which supports the healing process from Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). The organization is also working to build a village in Central Oregon to offer all of Warrior Impact’s support services in one central location.
