KNOXVILLE, Tenn. / July 1, 2020 — Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage Plus is proud to announce that Marlene Bernasconi, Sales Manager of the company’s south office, has been named treasurer of the Knoxville chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP).
As treasurer, Bernasconi will serve as the custodian of the local chapter’s funds, oversee fund collection and disbursement and serve as the chapter’s financial liaison with the National Staff of NAHREP.
“I am truly honored to serve in my new leadership position with the Knoxville Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals,” said Bernasconi. “It gives me a chance to give back to an organization that serves the Hispanic community and champions for their dreams of homeownership, both of which I am passionate about.”
The mission of NAHREP is to advance sustainable Hispanic homeownership. The organization educates and empowers real estate professionals who serve Hispanic home buyers and sellers. It does this through outreach, industry educational and business networking events.
As the sales manager for the south office of Weichert, Realtors® – Advantage Plus, located in Knoxville, Bernasconi oversees new agent recruiting, training and development, as well as manages customer acquisition activities, such as open houses and call sessions. Formerly of Miami, Bernasconi relocated to the Knoxville area in 2019. She has over 20 years of experience in the industry.
