COLUMBIA, Mo. / January 6, 2022 – Local real estate professional Monica Hansman of Weichert, Realtors® – First Tier was recently elected by her peers as president of the Columbia Board of REALTORS®.
Hansman will lead the organization that sets out to enhance the abilities and opportunities for local REALTORS® to conduct business successfully and ethically while also providing tools, training and techniques to enhance member profitability, productivity and professional growth.

Hansman has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry and has been working as a REALTOR® for 15 years. She graduated from the Columbia Board of REALTORS® Leadership Academy in 2017 and the Missouri REALTORS® Leadership Academy the following year.
She’s earned numerous awards during her extensive career in real estate, including the Columbia Board of REALTORS® Salesperson of the Year Award in 2019, Weichert’s President’s Club, Executive Club, Ambassador’s Club and Certificate of Achievement honors, the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Member of the Year Award in 2012 and the Rookie of the Year Award in 2009.
Originally from Paris, Missouri, Hansman has lived in Columbia for the past 24 years. She’s an active member of Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church where she teaches children’s liturgy and volunteers at the Interparish School. When she’s not servicing clients, Hansman enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and shopping.
