Becomes Newest Texas Affiliate
SAN ANTONIO, Texas / May 1, 2024 – Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. is proud to announce that Weichert, Realtors® – Strategic Alliance, previously known as R1 San Antonio Realty, has joined the Weichert® national franchise system.
Weichert, Realtors® – Strategic Alliance becomes the 24th Weichert franchised office in the state of Texas. The brokerage is owned and operated by Pam Alvarez, who has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Alvarez’s entrepreneurial beginnings started with the launch of a property development company that focused on new construction and land development. She went on to obtain her broker’s license in 2019 and soon after opened her own real estate brokerage, R1 San Antonio Realty. She’s since grown her team to 15 agents, who serve a diverse clientele, including local residents, military personnel, international investors, and many more.
Alvarez is a perennial top-producing agent who is widely recognized as a market-savvy broker who leverages her construction expertise. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations with a minor in business administration from the University of Florida, and a master’s degree in education from the University of Incarnate Word.
When she’s not serving clients and mentoring agents, Alvarez finds joy in family time, hiking, skiing, and giving back to her community through volunteer work at local parks and recreation facilities. She and her husband, who’s a specialist in kidney disease, actively support local chapters of the American Diabetes Association and the National Kidney Foundation.
