SAVANNAH, Ga. – Tomeca McPherson, a talented and experienced agent at Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties in Savannah, was recently elected as the president-elect of the Women’s Council of REALTORS® Savannah Network. McPherson will serve as the president-elect of the organization beginning in 2023 and will succeed to the office of President in 2024. She currently serves on the Governing Board as the 2022 Membership Director with the organization.
The election for McPherson adds to a long list of community involvement for the Savannah native. She also serves on the Board of Directors with the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Coalition of Black Chambers, and the Chatham County- City of Savannah Land Bank Authority.
In addition to her extensive experience in leadership roles, McPherson is a member on multiple committees with the Savannah Area REALTORS® (SAR), the Savannah Multi-List Corp. (SMLC), the City of Savannah Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee (DIFAC). She’s also an active member of the Junior League of Savannah, a Lifetime Member of the NAACP and is a mentor with the non-profit organization, Shelter from the Rain.

McPherson was born and raised on the Eastside of Savannah. She has a remarkably diverse career background, previously working in the healthcare field for over 10 years before changing career paths to the real estate industry. McPherson is a licensed independent life and health insurance broker and a political consultant.
