FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. / Jan. 22, 2017 – Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. continues to grow its market presence on the West Coast with the addition of Weichert, Realtors® – The Dole Group, formerly known as OC Realtor Group in California. The addition of the new Fountain Valley-based real estate agency marks the 10th Weichert® affiliate in the state.
The newest California office is an independently owned and operated Weichert affiliate led by Kenneth Do, the agency’s broker/owner.
“I started looking at franchising options last year to see if that would be an effective way to grow my business,” said Do, who opened his Orange County real estate office in 2007. “I talked with several brands but couldn’t find anything that shared my business value and culture, until I spoke with Weichert. I liked what I heard and was intrigued by the Weichert business structure, such as support for my agents by providing them the up-to-date technology to help grow their business.”
The Fountain Valley real estate agency made the decision to franchise after Do met with the Weichert leadership team in Morris Plains, N.J. He saw tremendous value in joining a brand like Weichert and the support they provide their affiliated owners, brokers and agents.
As part of the Weichert franchise network, Do’s team can take advantage of training programs provided – starting with a three-day intensive in-office session to familiarize agents with the Weichert business approach. The West Coast affiliate will also be eligible to receive sales leads from the Weichert call center to help grow its local market share.
