TAMPA, Fla. / June 14, 2022 – Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. continues to grow its presence in Florida with the addition of Weichert, Realtors® – Exclusive Properties, a new franchised office in Tampa.
The addition of the office, formerly known as Tampa Bay Exclusive Realty, LLC, marks the 38th Weichert® affiliate in the state of Florida. Weichert has a network of over 370 franchised offices throughout the country.

Contreras opened Tampa Bay Exclusive Realty, LLC in 2018 and successfully built the brokerage into one of the premier real estate agencies in the region. Over the past four years, he’s grown his team to 13 agents, who focus on keeping clients informed and serving with integrity and transparency throughout the buying and selling process.
Contreras first got his start in real estate back in 2005 as an agent with a competing brokerage. He transitioned into a career in finance a couple years later but made his return to the real estate industry in 2013 with a local Tampa brokerage. After many years as a top agent, he made the decision to establish Tampa Bay Exclusive Realty, LLC with the goal of growing his own team.
His “people helping people’ philosophy, which was instilled in him throughout his prior career, plays a key role in how Contreras operates his company and conducts business with clients. He believes keeping clients educated and informed throughout the entire process provides peace of mind and helps create a stress-free transaction.
A native of New Orleans, Contreras moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1982. He graduated from the University of Tampa with a bachelor’s degree in finance.
