Brockwell & Portwood North Elementary School Career Fair Post-Event Release COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. / April 10, 2018 – Weichert, Realtors® – Brockwell & Portwood, with offices in Colonial Heights and Richmond, was honored to have REALTOR Joyce Navary be a part of the North Elementary School’s annual Career Fair on March 26. The Colonial Heights public school invited Navary to talk about why she decided on a career in real estate and what she likes most about her job.
“It was a lot of fun putting together a display board showing the different styles, sizes and locations of homes that I enjoy helping people buy and sell,” said Navary, an award-winning agent at the Weichert® affiliate. “Having a visual display really helped when the kids started asking me questions about my job.”
The career fair gave students an opportunity to experience new, innovative, and maybe even unexpected, career paths to consider when they enter the work force.
“I was really impressed at how inquisitive the students were about the careers discussed at this event,” added Navary. “Hopefully I made a lasting impression with the students. It would be great to see some of them have as much fun working in real estate as I do.”
