BEAUFORT, S.C. / Feb. 8, 2018 – Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties is proud to announce it has promoted Bob Jones to the position of sales manager at its Beaufort office. Jones had previously been a top producing real estate agent at the Weichert® affiliated office.
In his new position, Jones will be responsible for new agent recruitment and professional development, as well as agent business planning and coaching. He is also tasked with helping agents in the Beaufort office turn Weichert Lead Network and other internet-based sales leads and referral sources into closed transactions.
“I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to serve in this management position to help agents in our Beaufort office achieve new levels of real estate success,” said Jones, who lives in Hilton Head. “I believe the folks in this office will benefit tremendously from what I’ve learned over the years in my various sales management positions and during my time here at Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties.”
Jones joined the South Carolina Weichert affiliate as a licensed real estate agent in 2015, bringing 20 years of sales management experience to his new position. He earned his South Carolina broker’s license two years later.
Prior to entering real estate, Jones worked in the chemicals industry selling pigments and dyes. He was transferred to the Lowcountry from New Jersey in 1988 to run the sales department for Alper Dispersions in Beaufort, his final position in the chemicals industry.
