HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. / Nov. 22, 2022 – Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties raised nearly $20,000 at its 15th annual Weichert Charity Golf, Tennis and Pickleball Tournament earlier this month. The proceeds will be donated to Family Promise of Beaufort County and Old Savannah City Mission, a pair of local organizations dedicated to providing services and resources for the homeless community.
This year’s charity outing took place at Wexford Golf Club on Hilton Head Island. Since its inception in 2007, the annual charity event organized by Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties has raised over $185,000 for various local charities.
“It’s always great to bring our community together at this annual event and raise funds for such amazing organizations,” Karen and Joe Ryan, co-owners of Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties, said in a joint statement. “We are honored to raise awareness and resources for Family Promise of Beaufort County and Old Savannah City Mission, two organizations that do outstanding work in our community.”
Family Promise of Beaufort County’s mission is to provide temporary shelter, family stability and permanent housing solutions for homeless families with children by mobilizing resources from interfaith and secular communities. Old Savannah City Mission is a non-profit organization that aims to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, rehabilitate addicts and help restore ex-offenders.
