HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. / Dec. 1, 2021 – Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties raised $12,469 at its 14th annual Weichert Charity Golf & Tennis Tournament in October. The proceeds were recently donated to Family Promise of Beaufort County and Old Savannah City Mission, a pair of local organizations dedicated to providing services and resources for the homeless.
This year’s charity outing took place at Wexford Golf Club in Hilton Head. Since its inception in 2007, the annual charity event organized by Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties has raised over $160,000 for various local charities.
“It’s always great to bring our community together at this annual event and raise funds for such amazing organizations,” Karen and Joe Ryan, co-owners of Weichert, Realtors® – Coastal Properties, said in a joint statement. “We are
honored to raise awareness and resources for Family Promise of Beaufort County and Old Savannah City Mission, two organizations that do outstanding work in the community.”
Family Promise of Beaufort County’s mission is to provide temporary shelter, family stability and permanent housing solutions for homeless families with children by mobilizing resources from interfaith and secular communities. Old Savannah City Mission is a non-profit organization that aims to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, rehabilitate addicts and help restore ex-offenders.
