ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. / August 17, 2026 – Weichert, Realtors® – Image was proud to host their second annual We Rock United Back-to-School Potluck, Rock Painting Party and Backpack Drive. The event was held as part of the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS® (GAAR) Backpack Drive to benefit the Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) McKinney-Vento Homeless Program and resulted in the donation of 80 backpacks.
The We Rock United event was held on July 31 from 2-5pm at the company’s Albuquerque office and brought agents, staff, family and friends together for an afternoon filled with creativity, connection and giving
back. Guests enjoyed a potluck lunch, painted kindness rocks, and most importantly, collected 80 new backpacks for the cause.
The team then had the honor of delivering the 80 backpacks to GAAR, where they will help students throughout the Albuquerque community start the school year with one less worry.

The McKinney-Vento Program supports students experiencing housing instability, helping ensure they have the resources they need to begin the school year prepared and confident. This year, APS estimates that more than 3,200 students in the district will not have a permanent place to live, making community support more important than ever.
