ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. / December 18, 2025 – This holiday season, Weichert, Realtors® – Image brought the community together for a meaningful cause by organizing a blanket and teddy bear drive to support first responders and the individuals and families they serve. The initiative was made possible through partnerships with Radiant Mortgage and the New Mexico Mortgage Lenders Association.
First responders are often called to scenes involving trauma or emergencies where children and families are frightened or in distress. The drive was designed to provide first responders with additional tools, such as warm blankets and soft teddy bears, to offer comfort and calmness in those critical moments.
Thanks to the generosity of donors and community members, the drive resulted in a full collection bin of brand-new blankets and stuffies, all ready to be distributed to first responders across the area.
