SENECA, S.C. / December 21, 2021 — The team at Weichert, Realtors® – In The Golden Corner brightened the holidays for local heroes at the Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home through a Christmas gift drive to benefit residents at the facility.
Agents from the Seneca-based real estate brokerage organized the drive and spread the word on Facebook groups, encouraging others to participate in the extremely worthy venture.
Their efforts ultimately paid off, as hundreds of items — including clothing, self-care products, puzzles, books, crafts, snacks and other items on the residents’ wish lists — were collected by the team and compiled at the company’s office.
The agents then dropped off the items at the nursing home, and they will be gifted during Christmas to the over 200 veterans living at the facility.
