MADISON, Miss. / Sept. 28, 2021 – The team from Weichert, Realtors® – Innovations showed their appreciation to local police and fire departments in Madison, Brandon and Starkville by treating the first responders to barbecue lunches surrounding the anniversary of September 11.
The leadership team at Weichert, Realtors® – Innovations, led by brokers Buck Covington, Clay Parker and Tonya Cutts, planned the initiative to show the company’s appreciation of the service and sacrifices that first responders in their communities make daily. The activities were planned around the September 11
National Day of Service and Remembrance, which aims to transform the anniversary of 9/11 from a day of tragedy into a day of doing good.
The team’s agents spent a three-day period from September 9-11 preparing and providing barbecue lunches for members of the police and fire departments in all three towns that Weichert, Realtors® – Innovations has offices — Madison, Brandon and Starkville.
“It was a joy to serve these men and women who protect our communities,” said Covington. “We look forward to continuing to show our appreciation and doing more for them in the future.”
