GRANDVILLE, Mich. / September 12, 2023 — Weichert, Realtors® – Platinum Group raised over $23,000 at its third annual charity golf tournament earlier this Summer. Proceeds from the event benefited Breck’s Heart for a Hope, a non-profit organization in Western Michigan dedicated to funding research of Congenital Heart Defects.
The team at Weichert, Realtors® – Platinum Group organized the event and recruited participants for the charitable cause. The event brought together 160 golfers for the fun-filled outing at Sunnybrook Country Club in Grandville.
Breck’s Heart for Hope is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help fund the research of Congenital Heart Defects and bring joy to families in the hospital in West Michigan. The organization was founded by Deena Vroegindewey, a REALTOR® with Weichert, Realtors® – Platinum Group and daughter of the company’s owner, Craig Van Assen. Vroegindewey’s son, Breck, was born with a congenital heart defect and has undergone multiple open heart surgeries throughout his young life.
