NEWARK, Calif. / Nov. 9, 2020 – Weichert, Realtors® – Rainbow Properties helped families in the Newark, Fremont and Union City areas enjoy a safe Halloween with their sponsorship and donation of supplies to a local Halloween Boo Basket event.
The Boo Basket event was organized by the Macaroni Kid organization and sponsored by several local businesses, including Weichert, Realtors® – Rainbow Properties, which donated $500 worth of supplies to the event.
“It’s great to be able to give back and support the local community and a great organization,” said Adam Modzelski, broker/owner of Weichert, Realtors® – Rainbow Properties. “We hope our contributions to this event helped tighten the bond in our community and make this Halloween special.”
Donations consisting of various Halloween treats and gifts were gathered from event sponsors and dispersed into baskets, which were then dropped off on doorsteps for a holiday surprise. As those in the community received a Boo Basket, they were encouraged to continue the act of kindness by assembling their own baskets and giving them out to two other neighbors.
The Macaroni Kid organization was founded with two very specific goals: enrich communities and empower moms. They publish weekly, hyper-local e-newsletters and websites featuring events and activities for moms, kids and families. They host local events and parties, and connect with the local communities through their rich and extensive social media channels. Each community is managed by a local publisher within that area.
