Ohio Brokerage Becomes First Weichert® Franchised Office in Ross County
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio / June 24, 2022 – Weichert Real Estate Affiliates, Inc. is pleased to announce that Weichert, Realtors® – Ron Neff Real Estate, formerly known as Real Living Ron Neff Real Estate, has joined its national franchise system. The new affiliate is the thirteenth Weichert® office in Ohio.
The brokerage was started by Ron Neff 48 years ago, in 1974, as Ron Neff Real Estate and continues to serve real estate buyers and sellers in South Central Ohio. The current broker/owners are Lon Fout and Charlene Schrader, who have a combined 70 years of experience. They both worked for Ron Neff Real Estate and bought the company in 2009 when Ron Neff retired. Fout, who has been in the real estate business for 40 years, started with the brokerage as a general manager at Ron Neff Real Estate. Schrader entered the business 30 years ago after a career in customer service.
The two owners are looking forward to the future as part of the Weichert family. “Lon and I are confident that this is the right move for us at the right time,” said Schrader. “We were looking for a company that would support our agents and our recruiting efforts, and we decided that the Weichert core values best aligned with ours.”
