DUNCAN, S.C. / May 17, 2021 — Weichert, Realtors® – Shaun & Shari Group, a Weichert® franchised office serving Upstate South Carolina, has expanded its operations with the acquisition of another local affiliate, Weichert, Realtors® – The Partners Group, located in Duncan.
With the acquisition, Weichert, Realtors® – Shaun & Shari Group now has offices in Simpsonville and Duncan. The company has brought on all the agents from Weichert, Realtors® – The Partners Group to increase its team to 24 total agents between the two offices.
The acquisition marks a period of growth for Weichert, Realtors® – Shaun & Shari Group, which joined the Weichert franchise network in November of 2019. “Our goal in franchising with Weichert was to grow our brokerage and provide our agents with the best resources in the industry,” said Broker/Owner Shari Phillips. “We are very fortunate this acquisition opportunity came along and are excited to have a physical presence in Duncan to continue serving clients in the growing area.”
Shaun and Shari Phillips were approached by Chris and Michelle White, the previous owners of Weichert, Realtors® – The Partners Group, about a potential acquisition earlier this year. The Whites were looking to put more focus on their outside appraisal business but wanted to give their team of agents the opportunity to continue working with a successful brokerage. Due to Shaun and Shari Phillips’ tremendous track record of success in the area, the Whites presented an acquisition opportunity to the Phillips with a strong belief they could do an outstanding job growing the business and helping their agents thrive.
