HUNTSVILLE, Ala. / June 8, 2023 – In yet another display of charitable giving for the Huntsville community, agents from Weichert, Realtors® – The Space Place joined forces to make a difference for those in need at Owen’s House, a local shelter that helps community members overcome hunger, homelessness, addiction, and abuse.
The team of agents from Weichert, Realtors® – The Space Place participated in the Movers for Moms® campaign sponsored by TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®, an annual initiative that delivers supplies to women’s and family shelters throughout the country.
Donations gathered by Weichert, Realtors® – The Space Place agents included food, diapers, wipes, hygienic products, hair ties, headbands, and more. The items were picked up by staff from TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and dropped off for women and children at Owen’s House.

Owen’s House is run by the Downtown Rescue Mission in Huntsville. The organization helps women and children who are homeless and hurting find refuge, restoration, and healing. Its efforts center on rescue, redemption, rehabilitation, and reassimilation through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
