HUNTSVILLE, Ala. / October 30, 2023 – Weichert, Realtors® – The Space Place helped bring joy and excitement to local children with special needs in the North Alabama region through its sponsorship of A Special Day for Special Kids program, which is hosted and organized by FlyQuest and Vital Flight.
FlyQuest is a Huntsville International Airport-based non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring young people to pursue careers in aviation and providing them with opportunities to pursue aerospace education and experience the joy of flight. As part of their mission, they organized the A Special Day for Special Kids program in conjunction with Vital Flight.
Weichert, Realtors® – The Space Place was a proud sponsor of the second annual event, with agents Tony Sanchez and Jenifer Owens spearheading the company’s efforts. The event gives children – specifically those dealing with serious illness or developmental challenges – the opportunity for a free airplane ride and the joy of flight.
